Ingredients
- 2 Cups Basmati Rice
- 2 1/4 Teaspoons Salt
- 1 Bay Leaf
- 1 Teaspoon Olive Oil
- 2 Tablespoons Cilantro
- 2 Tablespoons Lime Juice
- 1 Tablespoon Lemon Juice
Preparation
Directions
- Bring 8 cups water to boil in a large pot.
- Add rice, 2 teaspoons salt, and bay leaf.
- Stir and return to boil.
- Boil uncovered for 12 minutes.
- Remove bay leaf.
- Using fine mesh strainer, drain rice and rinse with hot water.
- Pour rice into large bowl.
- Stir in cilantro, lime juice, lemon juice, and remaining 1/4 teaspoon salt.
- Serve immediately.
